Very Pleased to offer this Victorian Tunbridge Perfume bottle chest.

Very fine and rare example.

Dome toped box which is made of mainly Rosewood & Satinwood with boxwood stringing.
Intricately inlaid with a traditional mosaic pattern.
The lid with flowers with patterned bands.
Brass escutcheon and key. Brass hinges to the lid & lever lock.

Opens to reveal 4 perfectly matching Victorian cut glass bottles. Squat square shape with faceted shoulders, corners and all with stoppers.
Each with paper labels (possibly not original but suits)

Extract Triple Ylang Ylang - Ess Frangipanni - French Essence of White Rose - Erin Go Bragh Bouquet.

The box lined in a rich red velvet.

18cm long x 6cm deep
7cm high

Condition for age is very good. The box has minor wear which is from use and consistent with age.
Bottle in good order with minor flea bites.
Key works and box locks.

COLLECTION - Any of our items can be collected from our shop in Doncaster during opening hours of Tuesday to Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.

OVERSEAS - We use the GSP (Global Shipping Program) for most of our International Sales.
