Packed away for decades in a large box were many circa early 1960's plastic bags filled with a postage stamp collector's 1000's of stamps.  Honey would come home from various stores, and the prudent hubby would use the bags, when emptied of original contents, to hold the stamps that he was accumulating.  I say early 1960s, because that was the era that the stamps dated from, and, no bags had the zip code of the town address included.  Zip codes were introduced around 1963.  These bags were opened, some may have minor soiling, etc.  Still, these snippets of history are rather nicely preserved.  Bags will be mailed carefully folded.  This sack held ...
