Paul Desmond was the alto-sax player who composed and played on Take 5 the great track by The Dave Brubeck quartet . Gabor Szabo's guitar playing is all over the album ably assisted by Ron Carter on bass & Bob James on keyboards among others , a really strong core of players contributing to a great album .
