Presenting a Mid Century Empoli hand blown art glass double Gourd twin handled vase.
This vase holds a wonderful elegant form.
Hand blown in the shape of a double gourd this vase features beautiful curvacious aspects. The two spheres which make the Gourd shape are perfectly balanced and flow seamlessly with each other.
The hand blown applied handles have been worked to feature a Swan neck design with a tight lined ribbed pattern to each. This creates superb texture and optics and shine as light passes through.
The colouring is a deep rich Emerald green which contrasts magnificently with the clear handles.
This is an excellent piece that would look perfect with any Mid Century decor or any glass collection.
This vase measures 20cm across at its longest including handles, 14.2cm in diameter at its widest and stands 20.5cm tall.
This vase is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There are the usual wear marks to the underside of the base due to its age and mentioned for accuracy.
It displays beautifully!!!
