The obverse looks like a Seated Liberty Dollar coin, but the obverse is a bust of President James Monroe surrounded by a wreath. A piece like this would have been used as a cheap movie prop. These were produced by LA Rubber Stamp Co. of Los Angeles, California. The edge is not reeded, and the piece is not silver; it appears to be made of a nickel alloy.
