* Surfaces hidden when assembled are not guaranteed to be shiny. You may get unit with some faces that have a brushed finish.
* This is made of untreated brass, it will patina and oxidize. Therefore, it may dull slightly during shipping.
Aluminum vs. Brass vs. Stainless (What's the difference?)
- Weight: Brass is much heavier, and will noticeably shift the balance of the pencil. The aluminum part doesn't change the center of mass in a meaningful way. Here's a summary of the weights:
- Brass: 6.8g
- Stainless: 5.8g
- Grade 5 Titanium: 4.0g
- Aluminum: 2.5g
- Plastic: 1.2g
- Finish: Brass will patina over time. The aluminum and stainless will dull much more gradually, if at all. The titanium is available in fun anodized colors.

Q. Do you combine shipping costs for orders of multiple different products?
A. Yup! Just order normally, and I'll refund the extra shipping when I buy the labels. If on the off chance I forget, just message me and I'll be on it ASAP.
Q. Does this have a lead hardness indicator?
A. Unfortunately not at this time. However the original is just a sticker, and it's not impossible to transfer over with some effort.
Q. When will (blank) be back in stock?
A. Making these is more or less a hobby for me. I make them when I have time, and only list what I have finished, so I can't make any projections about production. If you would like a specific material, or other special tweak, I do listen to your feedback, so feel free to message me through eBay.
