Fix that floppy ear pad with one of these easy to install clips. No tools required, just snap it in place. The small tab that keeps the ear pad/cup clamped onto the users head is prone to break. I know because mine did and I ended up with a perfectly good pair of headphone becoming unusable! Instead of buying a new pair, I started to deign my own repair part. I wanted something discrete and easy to install (no tools required). After dozens of versions (and trying different materials) I finally got one I liked and have been using it on my personal pair of ATH-50x and I can say they fit just like new!

These are design and manufactured in Largo, Florida using 3D printing technology and PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) material which is stronger than traditional PLA and better for high stress applications where strength is important (like this one).

Of course the headphones are not included. 

INSTALLATION

See video in the listing for installation!

1. Swing the pad/cup inward and rotate it down to access the back of the hinge.

2. Attach one side of the clip to the side of the hinge.

3. Align the clip tab into the space where the original tab broke off.

4. Snap the other side of the clip on the other side of the hinge.

5. Put your cans back on and feel the clamp force return to its satisfying original glory! Head bobbing to the beat is optional, but recommended.
