Lower corners bumped, spine ends rolled, light soiling to edges; binding solid but slightly cocked. Excellent color retention to cloth and gilding. Interior shows neat blue pen Christmas 1952 gift inscription to head ffep. Pages and endpapers generally lightly tanned. Small 5 mm closed tear to head first blank page.
