This Boxed Original from Blundells Retailers of Luton Containing Traditional Belgian Lacework, Brussels Lace Veil as Worn with a Juliet Cap by the Bride at Her Wedding in June 1929 in Luton. The Handsome Man and His Beautiful Bride are Photographed in Two Different Newspapers of the Day and Two Wedding Photos Wearing their Attire and This Veil. It is Housed in a c1940s/50s Cadburys Chocolate Box Enveloping the Garment which is Itself is Stored inside the Cardboard Box from the Original Retailer. The Condition of the Veil is Excellent with No Holes or Tears Etc. Its Size is Demonstrated in the Photo of it Covering my King-Sized Bed. It is Slightly Longer and is Wider by at Least a Foot than My Bed. It is Still Mildly Perfumed Scented which I Found Quite a Privilege to Smell 94 Years Later. I did Not nor would Dare to Iron, My Knowledge does not Extend that Far. There is a Note Left by Someone Many Years ago as the Sellotape is Clearly Very Old. A Great Roaring 20s Piece with Great Provenance and History. It Would be Perfect if this Piece was Given a Second Life So Long After....
