Offering a beautiful aesthetic brown transferware plate by Ridgways in the Indus pattern c. 1877. Pattern features two egrets foraging on the water with cattails surrounded by a floral border with hummingbirds. Back displays the English Registry stamp dating the piece to 1877, as well as the Ridgway maker’s mark

 

Measures 9 ¼” diameter

 

In Excellent condition free of nicks or fleabites with minor scratching to the surface commensurate with age and use
