No matter how you choose to use it, the Audix M1255B miniature high-output cardioid condenser microphone is one fine piece of gear in any galaxy! Specifically designed with high sensitivity to capture sound sources from a distance, the Audix M1255B works exceptionally well as an audience mic for use with in-ear monitors, a room mic for studio applications, and a hanging choir mic, among other applications. It retains fully integrated miniaturized preamp circuitry with extremely low self-noise, a high SPL handling capability, and it’s immune to RF interference from cell phones or GSM devices. Plus, the Audix M1255B’s discreet profile makes it nearly invisible — and it doesn’t require an external power adapter. The M1255B makes a tremendous close mic as well, with many optional accessories such as drum rim mounts, clips for saxes and trumpets, and more. Part of Audix’s The Micros series, the Audix M1255B is a mini mic with huge flexibility.
