This repair kit can save you a small fortune compared to a new OEM table. 

The flip down table leg on the VW Ocean kitchen table is prone to crack due to excessive side loads (see photos). Cost of new table is circa £400 (no they don't sell the hinge separately !). This repair kit facilitates a strong repair using a CNC machined aluminium billet component which replicates the end of the hinge assembly. 

In order to complete the repair you will need some DIY skills and the following tools. Drill, saw blade, chisel or penknife, rivet gun, abrasive paper, alcohol wipes and some strong epoxy glue.

Included in the kit - replacement hinge, rivets, drill bit, drill guide, spacers and full instructions.

Alternatively I can do the repair at £90 plus postage - if in the Swansea area you can drop the table off, or by prior arrangement I can repair while you wait. The finished job should be stronger than the original.

Why buy a brand new replacement table with the same weak plastic hinge !!
