Description:

This is an absolutely gorgeous 1714 1 escudo from the 1715 Fleet shipwrecks! This little beauty of an escudo is one of only 8 known examples in the gem mint state 65 grade at NGC, with only one specimen known in MS-66! On top of that, this coin boasts a detail few escudos have; a full HISPANIA on the reverse! This feature is typically partly visible or nonexistent on most coins from the Fleet wrecks, which adds to the desirability of this specimen. This coin is available now and ready for its new home as a highlight piece for any collector of Spanish Colonial gold cobs or Spanish treasure coins!
