For sale is a used B&S 3137/2 with the following modifications:

The stock leadpipe has been replaced by a Blackburn 1B pipe.

The tuning slide crook has been annealed, which necessitated the stripping of the silver plate.

The placement of the forward bell to leadpipe brace has been adjusted for a more open feel.

Both braces have been adjusted to remove tension in the body of the instrument.

The water key on the main tuning slide has been replaced with an Amado key.

The horn plays great, with a rich and vibrant sound that can fit into any playing situation. I’m selling because I just bought a New York Bach 37 from the principal player of a major orchestra that I’m liking just a bit better. I’m including a Protec case, but no mouthpiece. If the actual shipping cost is less than what EBay is calculating then I’ll refund the difference.
