Undoubtedly one of Robert Taylor's finest prints - the original being painted in 1982 and completed shortly after the subject, Douglas

    passed away. It was originally planned for him to sign the prints. The picture shows Douglas in his beloved MKVa Spitfire over the

                                                                                     French coast in 1941.

                                      In superb condition with no fading and in a quality aluminium frame - ready to display.

                           This is known as a Publishers proof and, in addition to Robert Taylors signature, it is also signed by

                                              Douglas Bader's wife, Lady Joan Bader (OBE), making it quite a rare copy.
