My Aunt Violet was the kindest soul. She always had a smile on her face and
a kind word for everyone. She was a pillar of the community and her contributions will never be forgotten.
Aunt Violet passed away, leaving behind
her estate to my mother which included countless items of an insanely
creepy nature. We had no idea all of these things were hidden in walls
and rooms until we started renovating and moving her things. It's as
though she led a different life! Was she a witch? We have a guess, but
we'll never know - but her items are highly charged and energized!
This box measures 9.5" x 6" x 4".
It
also has me questioning my mother since she took them all and we were
under the impression that she had gotten rid of them. She later told us
that she kept everything because she was afraid. Now we better
understand why all of the strange things may have happened in both of
their lives.
My mother has now passed away
and all of these items
have become mine - and there is no way that I am keeping them. Strange
things have been happening to everyone who owns this box and none of us
have been brave enough to open it. It is sealed in wax and while
beautiful, it leaves you with an uneasy feeling just being around it.
This
auction is for an old wooden box with thick colored wax
on the front, back and sides. The opening seam, lock and hardware in areas has been sealed shut. We're not sure if there is a significance to the
colors of waxed used or why they were chosen, Someone called it a dybbuk
box and we were told never to open it. H A U N T E D
