For sale is The Promise of the Bell: Christmas in Philadelphia, written by noted essayist Agnes Repplier, illustrated by John Wolcott Adams.  Published in 1924 it is 6" x 4.3" with 16 pages. It is illustrated with line drawings from the essay.

The booklet is in 'very good' condition. It has no marks or writing in it, but has a little shelf wear.  The cover has a few bends and a small tear in it. The cover also has a little dirt on it, see images.

We have recently had a large donation of vintage books & pamphlets relating to bells, bell-ringing, and vintage percussion instruments. About 25 listings will be appearing on eBay soon. Please look for them.
