Seems to function just fine.  Keys go up and down. ABC's still nice and clear on keys. Keys shift up and down to type different symbols. Carriage goes back and forth. Roller rolls. Spacing key operates.  Ribbon included but is dried up. Probably from the 1960's or 1970's. Nice item.  Look at photos carefully.
