Measurement of the actual effective voltage value (TrueRMS) The CZF-311 TrueRMS phase loss sensor is designed to protect an electric motor powered from a three-phase network in cases of voltage loss in at least one phase or voltage asymmetry between the phases, which may result in the destruction of the motor. Operation Voltage loss in at least one phase or voltage asymmetry between phases above the activation threshold will turn off the engine. The shutdown will occur with a delay of 4 seconds, which prevents accidental disconnection of the motor during a momentary voltage drop. It will be switched on again automatically when the voltage increases by 5 V above the activation voltage (i.e. by the voltage hysteresis value). In the case of the above anomalies, the relay contact is disconnected and the engine cannot be started. By measuring the true effective voltage value (TrueRMS), the sensor guarantees correct operation even when operating in a heavily disturbed power supply network.
