The built-in battery charger works on the principle of buffer charging. We recommend using batteries adapted for buffer charging and deep discharge, e.g. dedicated maintenance-free AGM VPRO (available at other auctions), gel, closed acid DEEP CYCLE, etc. Connecting car batteries (starter acid batteries) that are not designed for such operation to the converter may result in incorrect operation of the converter and/or damage to the battery.
