People in the early to mid 1900's with not school education were more educated than

 college students from the 2000's

These books were published from 1919 to 1945 to foster basic education for "the working man" and were made to fit in your pocket. They measure 3.5"x 5"

This copy is in average condition for age; lower corner torn, (see photos), crease down middle of front and back cover, corner rubbing and edge wear, staple discolored, one is attempting to come loose. All pages are intact and readable.
