For your consideration is this vintage Bankers Lamp produced most likely during the 1960s. This lamp does not bear a maker's mark. The lamp's cord fitting is made by Heyco, a power components manufacturer in business since 1926. The cord switch was made by Leviton in Mexico. I don't believe the cord is original to the lamp. There is a switch on the side of the shade, but it no longer operates. The lamp measures 10 inches long (shade) x 5.9 inches wide (base) x 18.75 inches tall (full extended). The articulated lamp raises and lowers at the two arm segments. When received, the cork bottom had slipped inside of the base. I have re-adhered it to the base. Additionally noted was a bit of cigarette thirdhand smoke removed during the preparation process. There is still a faint odor remaining. All external surfaces have been meticulously cleaned in an effort to dissapate the odor completely. The lamp has been tested and works properly (photo #2). This is a wonderful lamp with a great industrial feel. The patina is absolutely stunning for someone who prefers the more industrial look....or polish it up for a tailored office aesthetic. Truly an absolute great piece.
