A costume study of the Malinche figure in the Pueblo of Santa Clara, part of the larger dance-drama, Los Matichines. Parkhurst was a respected photographer among the Puebloan peoples in New Mexico, and this is a single image from his larger project of documenting Puebloan culture. Though undated, it likely dates from the 1930s.
Overall very good condition with strong tonality. Please examine images for condition.
