The jacquard machine was invented in France in the Late 1700’s by Jacquard

This method is still used today

There is a lovely floral border framing it

& a fabric sleeve on the wrong side for hanging!

It’s in excellent condition & measures 41 & 1/2“ long by 23” high

The scene shows peasants with farm animals
