Modified for 120 V power input connector for removable plug.

Some minor crackling sound happens in knob movements in a certain range.

Crackling sound

The crackling sound in the knob is likely due to the aging of the volume control. Power amplifiers, when setted in a certain position and adjusted using a preamplifier, often face this issue. I suggest locating the amplifier to a position where such noise doesn't occur.

Additionally, if you need to repair other components and have to open the main unit, I recommend using DeoxIT Gold contact cleaner on the volume control components to prevent this issues.
