Rust and Rot ~ Purveyors of wonderful things.

Welcome to the sale of this ornate wall mirror.

This vintage mirror would date from the 1930's or 40's and was most likely made by the British company Atsonea. The plaster frame is oval shaped and decorated with four winged cherubs (does that make them angles or putti? Who knows, not me) as well as scrolls and acanthus leaves with a nice bright gilt finish. This would make a lovely hallway or dining room mirror but would work well in most rooms of the house.

In good condition commensurate with its age and use. Please have a good look at the photographs as they form part of the description and contact me if you have any further questions.

The mirror measures (in cm) 68 tall, 43 wide and 7 deep.  It weighs 4.3kg
