For your consideration is this beautiful tan or peach lusterware tea cup set of two made in Japan most likely during the 1920s.  They are nt marked, but came in a group of like pieces all marked on the bottom "Made in Japan" in black. In Carole Bess White's book series Made In Japan Ceramics, this mark was not specific to any one particular company as it was a common mark used by nearly all ceramic companies in Japan at that time. I call this set "Sweetheart Flowers" for the lovely hand painted floral motif inside of a heart. Each teacup measures 3.6 inches in diameter by 2.2 inches high. One does have a small fleabite chip on the rim and is therefore being offered as a set. The other has a smudge mark on the front that appears to have been produced during the manufacturing process. Both are ideal for a Valentine's Day of Anniversary Tablescape.

Please note, I box each item individually then place in one box to mitigate damage during transit.
