A masterpiece by star designer Bobby Grace

MacGregor is the second oldest golf company in the USA.
Peas were never counted in this company. Under the leadership of world-class golfer Greg Norman, who headed the company until 2009, the engineers were able to show what was technically possible without constantly having to keep an eye on production costs.

Greg hired Norman to develop putters Bobby Grace, one of the best designers in the world who has been developing legendary putters for almost 50 years. Under his direction, a whole series of first-class rackets were designed that are enjoyed by professionals as well as demanding amateurs. With the DCT series, Bobby Grace has combined traditional putter designs with an innovative insert.

Think about how many times you've hit the ball outside the (usually) very small sweet spot and then found that it didn't roll in the direction you wanted or at the speed you hoped.

The reason for this is that up to 20% less energy is transferred to a ball that is not hit centrally and the bat twists upon contact.

Bobby Grace has studied this phenomenon in depth and found an effective solution: DCT

DCT means Distance Control Technology

They know that balls of different hardness not only have different flight characteristics, but also roll at different speeds on the green.
Based on this knowledge, Bobby Grace developed an insert with three different degrees of hardness and presented them visually in three different shades of gray.
This means that the ball always accelerates optimally and evenly, even if it is not hit in the middle.
