VTG Royal Crownford Ironstone Commodore Bainbridge Nautical Transferware Caddy.


Unique caddy or lidded cask in a lovely honey-mustard color with a black transferware commemorating "Commodore Bainbridge" (William) who lived from 1774 to 1833 and was a commodore in the U.S Navy, commanding the USS Constitution as well as participating in the War of 1812. It was made by the now defunct Royal Crownford Company in Staffordshire, England…and is roughly 5" wide and 4.2" high (with lid) and is free of chips or cracks
