'Orley Farm' is a realist novel by Anthony Trollope, following an intense legal battle over a farm near London, named Orley Farm.

The novel features themes Trollope often followed in his novels, such as the changing Victorian world, and the threat of losing a house. Trollope viewed this novel as his personal favourite, despite it having been undersold. George Orwell also describe it as "one of the most brilliant descriptions of a lawsuit in English fiction".

Illustrated by John Everett Millais. Millais was one of the founders of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, with the brotherhood being founded in his home in Gower Street. He is best known for his painting depicting the tragic character Ophelia from Hamlet, a painting which now embodies all that the Pre-Raphaelite admired and worked for.
