I have dabbled in Pan Am memoralbilia for 20 years and have never seen another item like this. I knew the previous owner and her husband (a Pan Am pilot) gave her this silver miniature Boeing 727 in the 70s. My guess is he had the piece custom made because I have searched high and low over the past year and have not seen another pin like this one.

As you can see from the pictures, the detailing and craftmanship is superb. To name a few of the outstanding details:

-Consider the Pan Am logos on the tail - barely 3/16’ in diameter, yet the detailing is complete and sharp.

-The exhaust tail pipes are clearly recognizable on the jet engine nacelles located on the wings.

-The hatch outlines are crisp.

-All proportions, lines, and angles are representative of a life sized Boeing 727

About the pin:

-925 sterling silver hallmark stamp

-11 grams in weight

-2 3/8” long

Thanks for looking!
