Here I have a pair of rare very cool vintage USA woolrich thick woven wool buffalo plaid hunting breeches, plus fours pants in superb condition.

These are the most hard wearing garments I’ve ever come across, they are very thick densely woven wool that is really weatherproof as they left lanolin in the wool, they are double thickness on the knees and the seat at the back, have buttons for braces, the bottom cuffs are lace up on the outer leg & original 1940s talon brass zips on the inner that are in good working order.

The fly has 1940s Crown metal zip that works well, there are no holes in the wool, not even moth nibbles (which is very rare), the cotton inner waistband has some fraying but unseen when wearing.

I bought these from America as they match my 1940s woolrich hunting coat but I’ve never worn them so am turning them loose!

Waist laid flat externally measures 18”, will fit up to a 35” waist) I’m a 33” & they fit nice held up by braces)

There’s lots of fabric in the back for them to be taken out to fit up to a 38” waist.

Inside leg is 28” designed to go to the top of your boots)

Waist rise crotch to top of waistband at back 16”
