An attractive antique 19th century period Chinese porcelain vase. The vase with classical blue and white design later clobbered decoration in a bold palette of red, green and gold depicting a dragon chasing a horse pearl surrounded by floral designs.

The base of the vase with signature mark.

Height approximately 17cm.

'Clobbering' is usually understood as when polychrome 'enhancement' is applied over an existing and complete underglaze blue motif and, a not intended part of the original design, usually to make an item more appealing.

In overall good condition with no chips or cracks noted. Some surface wear to the clobbered decoration. A nicely decorate vase which displays well. Please be guided by the photographs and feel free to ask any questions.
