Canaries, Hybrids and British Birds in Cage and Aviery by John Robson with hand coloured illustrations by Lyon & Bailey 1911.

A very good clean copy.

The leather binding is in excellent condition with minimal bumping to the corners.

The linen cover however is marked and raised in places but these could be easily replaced.

The gold blocking is excellent and the top gold edge is good if a little scuffed.

Inside there is a break between the contents and chapter 1 and similarly towards the back of the book but this is an easy fix.

The pages are clean and bright with minimal foxing or yellowing.

Altogether a first rate copy requiring little restoration. Priced to sell.
