Vintage NOS Mobil Oil Gas Pump Dispenser Labels “Decals”
Transfers - REGULAR
Perfect for vintage
gas pump restoration or an old gas can.
Originally used on several different Mobil Oil Corp. gasoline pumps or dispensers
and storage tanks in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Two
labels in each envelope.
(The DIESEL FUEL version of the label is also being listed.)
Label size (before cutting
to size to fit a specific pump brand) is 3-3/8” by 8-3/4”. Pressure sensitive adhesive attachment after
removing the liner paper.
“Regular”
in “Mobil Red” color, 1-1/2” inch letter height (first
letter) and 1-1/8” inch letter height for the lower case letters.
PLEASE NOTE: The brand name “Mobil” is NOT on the labels,
but is on the paper envelope that holds the labels.)
There are guide lines
for cutting the label to fit the following gasoline pumps:
Bennett
2000 and 3000 series
Wayne
420 Series
Wayne
400 and 700 Series
Quantity of two (2) transfers
(“decals”) and an “Applications Instructions” slip per original envelope.
(Although the paper envelope title
uses the word “decals”, the labels are actually made with pressure sensitive
adhesive and should be considered “transfers”.)
