Glass pearls are made by taking a glass bead and either dipping or spraying it with pearlescent material to create a soft sheen like a real pearl. They are less expensive than the real pearl and are fairly durable so they can be worn more frequently. The glass pearls I offer in my store were made in China.
These pearls are a pretty peach color with much sheen. Color in the photos above is fairly accurate.
