HUM 81 2/0 - "School Girl" - International Collectible Exposition - TMK-7 - 4.5" Tall

This hummel was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Möeller in 1937. There were many size, basket and color variations throughout the years. This size, 81 2/0, has the basket filled while all others have the basket empty. The old names of this hummel were "Primer Girl" and "Little Scholar." This motif was used on the 1980 Annual Plate, Hummel Number 273. This piece was only available for purchase at the 1996 International Collectible Expedition held in Chicago, IL. The special "125" backstamp represents the 125th anniversary of the company, 1871-1996.
