This gorgeous little artist and writer's journal is handmade by me. It measures 2.5 X 3.5 inches (ACEO - Art Card Size). The cover is a faux leather paper that I dyed myself and finished with a protective coating. It is a hardcover book with a sewn binding and the cover is actually sewn right on just as one of the sections (signatures) so it will never fall off. I also designed it to fully open and lay flat to make working in it so convenient for writing and painting in. Especially when on the go, or urban sketching/painting.

     It has 16 sheets or 32 pages (front and back) of heavy 140 lb. Fabriano Hot Press Watercolor paper (25% cotton) which has a smooth surface for sketching, ink drawing, and watercolor. It also has 31 sheets/ 62 pages of colorful journaling pages.

     That's 94 pages total!

     The journaling pages are perfect for your favorite quote or poem, or notes about the paintings and drawings, or pages for those little scrapbooking keepsakes for the traveler.

    Since the spine is left "soft" so the book opens fully and lays out flat, it may start to look "crinkly" but not to worry. The signatures are all sewn together, and also reinforced with a thin book-binding cloth glued over the spine before I glue on the cover. It is very durable and sturdy.
