Ultra light-weight and comfortable FH1 half hood with integrated eye protection.  The 3M Scott FH1 has been designed with a unique Neoprene Face seal to deliver the highest level of PAPR protection without compromising user comfort.  Improved vision is also a focus of the FH1 hood, using a large flexible PETG visor (0.75mm thick) and a transparent chin panel the peripheral vision has been maximised for further increased user comfort.

 The FH1 is approved for respiratory and eye Protection when used with SPIRIT, Tornado, Duraflow and Proflow powered air systems.


The Scott FH1 Hood is an innovative loose fitting hood that, when combined with Scott’s Powered Air-Purifying Blowers and the appropriate cartridge or filter, giving extended duration respiratory protection in non-IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life & Health) environments, such as the hazards of general industry, first receivers, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • A one-size-fits-all design that features a easy to use quick-draw adjustable harness assembly for easy donning and doffing. 
  • The loose fitting design of the FH1 Hood helps to extend worker safety to all employees by accommodating individuals with prescription eyewear, facial hair and trendy hair styles, while also eliminating the need for costly fit testing.
