This vintage wedding dress exudes timeless elegance with its cream lace material and Victorian look. The raglan sleeves and ruched hip band add a touch of uniqueness to this original piece from the 1980s. The dress was made in an unknown country/region of manufacture. Whether you're a collector of vintage clothing or a bride-to-be in search of a one-of-a-kind gown, this dress is sure to make you feel like a true beauty on your special day.  This is a Union made dress and the picture will show you what it is made of.
The size in not marked, but I wore a size 14 and it fit perfect.  There are two layers on the skirt so it flows and does not cling.  The bodice is just one layer of polyester under that gorgeous lace.  There a flower shoulder papplems of lace and sequins.. also one lace and sequined flower on the ruched hip band.  The waist line is forgiving but measures about 36" to 38" as you don't really see the waistline. Your shape can be seen thru the lace for it's very forgiving. The hips about 39" to 40" where the ruching goes around your hips. From under the arm to the hem is 48".  It has a chapel train, which you can see in the pictures and it bustles with three button at the edge of the ruching. The whole bodice is cream colored to match the skirt, with a blousy raglan sleeve, which only gives you a very elegant shear shape of your upper body while the ruching holds the lines to your hips and then the skirt is full and flows delicately to the floor...it's a beautiful dress to dance in.  This is a one of a kind.  I don't think you will be disappointed.  This dress is great for destination weddings because it's easy to pack and simple to steam out.  I did not steam it for this pictures, it has been in storage for a few years and has a couple of wrinkles..just steam, they fall right out!!
