1271 HO Narrow Amamiya Type B Tank Kit, power assembled
HO narrow,9mm gauge... Slightly larger
■Prototype
This is a 5-ton locomotive made by Amamiya Manufacturing Co. This is a domestic steam locomotive, and the same type of machine was used in many places in Japan. Since it was originally a small machine for track lines rather than railroads, it is designed a little looser and larger to fit the Nekoya line cars.
■Features
Power unit is black painted, abrasion resistant, pre-assembled, equipped with 12V coreless motor, and M0.2 gears with flat gear reduction, enabling realistic running from very low speeds (61mm/s-6V*). The speed is set a little faster than the ultra-low speed type OSO Power for ease of use on light rail lines. (About the same as Forney and slower than the old Percy).
The body is made of plastic by high-resolution optical 3D printing, and the front beam, smoke chamber, cylinders, cab, railings, and rear beam are all one-piece, eliminating the need for assembly. Super detailed cab interior equipment, morning glory couplers with holes cut out, and in-lettered nameplate are also included.
Paint can be applied with surfacers and plastic paints just like plastic models.
The one-piece design may have some diagonal lines on the sides of the car body. Please prepare the surface with paper, etc. as you like.
This is a reference value in millimeters per second at 6V load, calculated from the motor speed of *mm/s-6V~no load.
