These boots were  designated "Class1 LES" in 2011, Launch Entry Suit Boots.  Crew would wear this walking to board the Space Shuttle for launch, and they put them back on for re-entry and de-boarding.  They were also worn for extensive training crew members would take part in.  These are made by Rocky911, have the NASA part?serial numbers sewn in the tongue, come with Johnson Space Center Parts Tag with history, and inventory/EVA stickers.  The velcro tag is on the laces where crew would add their own color piece to help ID their pair. They were downgraded to CLASS III ( Not for Flight ) in 202.   They were used to train in, and likely flown, but no other history is available.
