Boston: American Stationers Co., 1837, one of only 1,000 copies printed. In original publisher's rose cloth stamped in a blind floral pattern with gilt spine titles. Complete with four pages of advertisements preceding title and the 16 page publisher's catalogue at end. Measures 5.25" x 8". Overall in fair to good condition with minor strengthening to spine extremities, front hinge cracked, rear hinge and backstrip separated. Tiny area of worming at rear, not affecting text. Housed in a custom cloth chemise and slipcase measuring 5.5" x 8.5". Rare in publisher's binding.
