VRT1 RAF commemorative cover depicting the first prototype Avro Vulcan VX770 on its first flight and also Vulcan XM607 in RAF camouflage taking off from Ascension Island during the Black Buck Raids during the Falklands War in 1982. 

The cover bears four Ascension Island stamps cancelled on the first day of issue 14 June 2002 - with the 50 stamp showing the Avro Vulcan.

 The cover has been signed by Group Captain Jeremy Price CBE, who the Senior RAF Officer on Ascension Island during the Falklands Conflict.

Official special numbered and certified on reverse.
