ITEM- Scarce Gerald Crawford Early American Armchair Dollhouse Miniature Artisan 1980's #1

DESCRIPTION- When I saw a somewhat similar Jim Ison side chair from 1987 sell Nov. 5th for $750 with shipping, I decided to list this armchair, another Crawford armchair & another side chair (see my other listings & second photo here) by the late miniature master craftsman Gerald Crawford.  I love the splat in the back, reminiscent of a candlestick silhouette.  The rush seat is hand woven, wood is turned by hand on a wood lathe.  He was a consummate artist & I've sold many of his piece over the years & still have a very good selection of rare & wonderful pieces by him.  Gerald never signed his chairs of this rush seat type that I've seen & I've studied many, but we 100% GUARANTEE this was made by him.  The reason I know the date is that I know when the previous owner collected it.  It measures 3 & 11/16" tall X 2 & 1/16" wide X about 1 & 3/4" deep.

ABOUT US- Perhaps you found us from our cards at shows or our Facebook page htgtminis & if so, we hope you will choose to buy from us here also.  We are Chris & Holly Wood of Scottsville, KY & we have sold dollhouse miniatures at shows in Philadelphia (Minituria), & San Jose (Good Sam), & in Chicago (Bishop etc..).  We will be at Chicago in April.  Our previous 22 years experience with antiques gives us a discerning eye to proper scale in miniatures.  We hope you will choose to do business with us wherever you may FIND US.  Write with ANY questions or reasonable offers & we will consider them.

CONDITION- No damage. Cupboard is in excellent, vintage, unused condition.  Jane's pottery is unused in excellent condition.  Lee Anne's vintage pieces were in collections for decades but were preserved carefully & show no signs of wear & look like new.   I should note that this cupboard is meant to be a primitive used-looking piece & thus was intentionally lightly sanded in a couple of spots to age it as stated already.

SHIPPING/INSURANCE- Free option CAN BE SLOW- 5-12 days or so by USPS priority REGISTERED including full coverage.  Priority Insured option 2-4 days $50, explanation- Free Economy shipping included is me shipping it (not through eBay) by USPS priority registered including full insurance & is the most secure way to send anything expensive as every person that touches it has to scan & keep a record, but it takes from 5 days up to 12 days to arrive & costs me $40-50.  That way saves me $20-25, but if you want to be sure you will get it within 4 days (2-4 depending on location), upgrade to Priority for $50 & we will ship it by normal Priority insured (not registered) which costs us $70-80 at this high with the new crazy PO prices for insurance.

RETURNS & BUYER PROTECTION- These terms are legally binding.  The eBay buyer protection program fully guarantees you will receive the item(s) you bought just as shown & described in this listing.  We do not allow returns outside of the eBay buyer protection guarantee for any reason, because all that does is allow for buyers to return things for illegitimate reasons such as buyer's remorse or not reading the description, reasons that if we were somehow forced to do a return because of, would result in a 25% restocking fee.  If we made a legitimate mistake that can be proven, then the eBay money back guarantee comes in.  If there's damage, that's why we always fully insure any item (other than lesser items we have exact duplicates of).  Most buyers are honest & not intending to cheat sellers, but this way you are protected and so are we.  We often set up in Philly & Chicago & have sold a huge amount of estate miniatures in the past 7 years.  We want to be a trusted source for artisan dollhouse items on eBay & we have never received anything but positive feedback from dollhouse items we've sold, with no complaints so far anywhere.  However, one buyer neglected to note the size, thought they were buying a full size cupboard despite the DH category, description with size, & pictures with a dime beside them & one of my hand holding it, so just know what you're buying & know there will be no returns for not looking at pictures & reading the description.  And if there is anything you're not sure about, write to ask BEFORE buying & we will send any additional pics or photos or measurements you need so there is no confusion.  After you buy without writing, that is on you. We want to make every reasonable buyer happy so they come back again! Thanks for looking.
