This works perfectly fine as an acoustic Low Volume Cymbal as well as for electronic conversions. With this thinner version you can use it in a mix and match option with another LVC of the same size on the bottom and with this one on the top for use as a remote Hi-Hat or use any 12" cymbal and you will still get basically the same results in decibel levels. Approximate weight is 469 grams.
