establishment in 1949 through the end of its fourth term in 1965.” I am pleased to offer: “Parliament in the German Political System,” by Gerhard
Loewenberg. This large-sized book (6 ½ x
9 ½ inches, 463 pages) was published by the Cornell University Press of Ithaca,
New York, dated 1966. It is bound in
black cloth with handsome gilt & red decorations and titles on the spine,
and protected by a printed paper dust jacket.

Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some light edge wear, a
slightly darkened spine with a smear of color across the lower tip and some
very light soiling. The hard covers are
clean and the title panel on the spine bright and attractive. Inside, there is a former owner’s name on the
front endpaper but that was the only mark I found in the book; the pages are
clean and bright throughout. Both hinges
are fully intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
