FLORIDA SARASOTA COUNTY LOCAL HISTORY 3 SOFT COVER BOOKS BY JEFF LA HURD 1990’S.  Long-term resident and local historian and historic preservation activist Jeff La Hurd has written a number of books about the local history of Sarasota and the area around it.  I am please to offer three of them….all soft cover books in very good condition…with this listing.  Please find:

-         “Quintessential Sarasota—Stories and Pictures from the 1920s – 1950s” – Clubhouse Publishing 1991- 128 pages.

-         “The Lido Casino-Lost Treasure on the Beach” – self-published 1992- 60 pages.

-         “Sarasota Then and Now” – self-published 1994- 94 pages.

Condition:  All three books are in very good condition but have clearly been opened and read.  There has been a little bit of bumping to the corners but nothing serious.  None of them are marked or show much wear & tear.

Shipping:  These three soft cover books will be very carefully packed, with bubble wrap and solid cardboard protection and promptly mailed upon payment.  Please note that I do not charge for packing and handling; all you pay is the postage and sometimes not all of that!  Postage to US addresses for these three small-sized soft cover books will be only $4.15 for media mail.  Combined shipping for multiple purchases is gladly offered.  You will pay full price for the shipping of the first book and half price for any others purchased that same week.  For example, two books with shipping at $4 each will ship for $6 combined.

The eBay site has become so popular that it is difficult to find your way back to a seller with an interesting array of listings.  Please consider “book-marking” my site so you can see a constantly changing inventory of other truly vintage books and/or collectible works.

Please also be aware that all my current listings are “winter season” listings held here in Southwest Florida where fortunately they escaped the ravages of Hurricane Ian.  Once the asparagus start showing in the garden up north, I will head home to New York State, ending these listings and reverting to another catalogue of different books held there.

Please don’t hesitate to send in any questions; I will monitor closely and respond promptly.  Thanks, and enjoy.
