For sale this week is a nice miniature watercolour portrait painting of a street sweeper. It is one of two similar I am selling this week. It is painted on paper. From the style and the clothes the man is wearing, I would estimate this was painted around 1875. It comes in a fluted ebonized wood frame which measures about 7 by 5 inches. It is in good condition with some minor yellowing to the paper and some minor wear to the old frame. Please refer to photographs.
