This is a 18" Cymbal Blank for a Ride, Crash/Ride and is RAW, Un-hammered, Unshaped and Unfinished B20 alloy. It weights 1144 grams.

This is a cast cymbal that heated red hot and was then rolled over and over after being reheated to red hot before being placed in the roller to make it thinner. Then after it is thin enough, it is reheating, a bell is pressed, and the blank was reheated then again to red hot, then placed in a pool of salt water to be cold annealed. Then we drilled the (mounting hole) pilot hole in the bell, and the cymbal is circle sheared to 18-inch diameter. 

Lastly the cymbal blank was lathed to a specific gram weight and tone, then it was reheated and cold annealed again. The sharp outer edges were cured and smoothened. 

This is a special process we do to ensure the sound expectations of the finished cymbal when it is going to be lathed later. 

The last process we do not do when we are specifically going to produce a "Natural Turk" Style finish.
